✶ One address, read daily
Write to us.
We answer
our own email.
There is no contact form and no phone number, which is deliberate. There is an email address, it goes to the two people who run this site, and it gets read every day.

What to put in it
We can answer almost anything quickly if the message contains enough to work from, and almost nothing quickly if it does not. Four things cover most cases.
The voucher reference, if you have booked
It is on your confirmation email. With it we can see the supplier, the pick-up point and the conditions on your particular car; without it we are guessing at a booking we cannot see.
The dates and the pick-up point
If you have not booked yet, these are what make a question answerable. Availability and price on this island move by the week and differ between the full list of collection points, so a question about a car in Tenerife with no dates attached has no useful answer.
What actually happened, in order
If something went wrong, the sequence matters more than the summary. What you were told, by whom, and when. Photographs help, particularly of anything that was already on the car at collection.
What you would like to happen next
Sometimes it is a refund, sometimes an explanation, and sometimes people simply want somebody to know. All three are reasonable, and knowing which saves a round trip.
What we can and cannot do
We can explain a condition, tell you what a listing actually means, chase a supplier who has gone quiet, and pass on a complaint with some weight behind it. We can also tell you honestly whether a car is worth it for the trip you are describing, including when the answer is that it is not.
We cannot override a supplier's rental conditions, waive a deposit, or authorise a refund on their behalf. The contract is with them, and the conditions it is made under are set out in full on the rental conditions in full. Where something has gone wrong at a desk, the supplier named on your voucher is the first call and we are the second.
What happens after you book
You get a confirmation with a voucher on it. The voucher is the document that matters: it names the supplier, says where to meet them, and carries the conditions attached to your particular car, including the deposit, the excess and whether a credit card is mandatory. Save it offline before you fly, because airport wifi is not something to stake a collection on.
Nothing else is required of you until you land. There is no reconfirmation call, and nobody will ask you for money in between. If you receive a message asking you to pay something extra before travel, treat it with suspicion and forward it to us.
At the desk, the three things that decide how it goes are the physical licence, the card in the driver's name and the deposit already being settled. Those are covered in detail on arrivals at Tenerife South, which is where most people on this island collect.
Two pages that answer most of it
The two questions we get most are about deposits and about cover, and both have longer answers than an email can hold. What an insured event actually requires covers the second, including the four exclusions that catch people out on this island. The first is on the zero-deposit listings, including why a credit card can still be required when nothing at all is being held against it.
✶ Asked before writing in
Three things
worth knowing.
My car is not there and I am standing at the desk. What now?
Call the supplier on your voucher first, not us. They are the only party who can actually put a car in front of you, and every minute spent emailing is a minute not spent on that. Once you are moving, tell us what happened. We want to know which suppliers cause problems and there is no other way for us to find out.
Can I change or cancel my booking through you?
Cancellation and amendment run through the booking system rather than through us, using the links in your confirmation email. If those are not working, write to us and we will chase it. Many cars on this island are listed with free cancellation and the terms of yours are on your own voucher rather than being a general policy.
Why is there no phone number?
Because there are two of us, and a number nobody reliably answers is worse than no number. Email gets read every day, and it leaves a written record of what was said, which turns out to matter when a supplier disputes something later.
✶ Or just look first
Most questions are a search away.
The deposit, the excess and the card rule are on every listing, so a good deal of what people write in to ask is answered by putting the dates in and reading a card.
